These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Plus one data ("Plus one data", "we", "us") for the use of our website, mobile app, wallet and related services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What we provide
We provide a platform to buy and pay for digital and everyday services, including airtime, mobile data, cable TV subscriptions, electricity tokens and bills, exam and educational PINs and payments, recharge and data card PINs, airtime-to-cash, identity verification slips, business name/company registration support, and other services shown in your dashboard from time to time. Each service is delivered by its provider (for example a mobile network, a cable TV company or an electricity distribution company). We are not the provider of those underlying services, and their own terms also apply.
Availability, prices, discounts and features can change. The price and details shown when you confirm a purchase are the ones that apply to that purchase.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Give true, current and complete details, and keep them up to date. Your email and phone number are used to verify you, send receipts and reach you about your account.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account. Keep your password, login PIN and transaction PIN secret, and do not share your device unlocked. We will never ask for your password or PINs.
- Tell us straight away at Plusonedata26@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account. You can also sign out other devices from Security in the app.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing (for example for resellers using our API).
3. Wallet and payments
- Purchases are paid from your wallet balance (and, where offered, cashback balance). You fund the wallet using the methods shown in your account, such as a dedicated virtual bank account. Funding is credited when the payment provider confirms it.
- Your wallet is a prepaid balance for buying services on our platform. It is not a bank account, does not earn interest and is not a savings or investment product.
- Charges and fees, where they apply, are shown before you confirm.
- We may hold, reverse or correct a credit made in error (for example a duplicate payment notice or a system error) and will show the correction in your transaction history.
4. Making a purchase
- Check the recipient (phone number, smartcard/IUC, meter number, profile ID and so on), the network or provider and the amount before you confirm. A purchase sent to the details you entered is delivered as instructed and usually cannot be reversed.
- Each purchase is confirmed with your transaction PIN (or fingerprint, if you turned it on).
- Most purchases complete in seconds. Some are marked "processing" while the provider confirms them. We update the status as soon as the provider responds; failed purchases are refunded as described in the Refund Policy.
- Keep PINs, tokens and vouchers you buy safe. Once revealed or delivered, we cannot replace them if they are lost or shared.
5. Verification and limits
To protect you and meet legal requirements we may ask you to verify your identity (for example with your BVN or NIN, through licensed verification partners), and we may set daily or per-purchase limits. Some features are only available after verification.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law, including laws on fraud, money laundering and terrorism financing;
- use stolen funds, cards or accounts, or someone else's identity;
- abuse referral, cashback, rewards, giveaways or promotions (for example with fake or multiple accounts);
- interfere with, overload, probe or attack the Service, or access it by automated means other than our published API;
- resell the Service in a misleading way or claim to be us.
We may suspend or close accounts, hold balances under investigation and report activity to the authorities where we reasonably suspect misuse, as the law requires or allows.
7. Resellers and API users
If you use our API, keep your API key secret, restrict it to your server IP addresses where possible, and make sure your own customers receive accurate information. You are responsible for purchases made with your key.
8. Rewards and promotions
Cashback, referral commissions, rewards and promotions have the rules shown where they are offered. They have no cash value outside the Service unless we say otherwise, and we may change or end them, without affecting rewards you have already earned.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available, but it depends on networks, providers, banks and payment partners outside our control. Services may be slow, paused or unavailable at times, including for maintenance. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by those third parties, but we will refund failed purchases as described in the Refund Policy.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses caused by wrong details you enter, by sharing your password or PINs, by events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses such as lost profits. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
11. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time from the app or our account deletion page. Please use or withdraw any balance first; see the Account Deletion Policy for what happens to remaining balances and records. We may close an account that breaks these Terms, after telling you where the law allows.
12. Complaints
Contact support with your transaction reference. We aim to resolve complaints within 3 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) for personal data matters.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will show the new effective date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
